Dear Mr. President

I have no doubt that you can lead our country to progress. But worries me is that you are distancing yourself to the Church who has help a lot our country since the Martial law and EDSA people power. Your mother has always been Christ centered even in her duties for our country. You are also ignoring your duty Sir as a Christian to lead our country not just to progress, peace and justice but also moral stance. As a Catholic we are all called to Discpleship and Sir you have the perfect position to lead us all and let God’s grace guide you. I know you want something big for this country and I know you are a man of vision and wants something big, a man of dreams, like your father.

But it will not be achieve if our countries values, which is the only wealth our country can be proud of, and having a fight with the Church and not listening to them who are just doing discipleship for the sake of love for country and God.

Our faith moral values and love for God and following His teaching is our greatest wealth which money cannot compare because this are eternal wealth. I know you want to be open minded and i know there is a temptation to follow modern ideas do to persuasion and it looks like an easy way out to progress and happiness. Or you believe that it is democracy.

But I assure you sir, if you follow this wrong notion of freedom and road to progress like contraception, divorce, same sex marriage, legalizing Jueteng, it will just do more harm than good. This are all short term and in any country they did not succeed because it ruined family values, made people materialistic, and it just created a division between people who fights for moral values and people who are so liberated.

Aim high sir, aim for the happiness of all sides and it is achievable It is just basic fundamentals, you don’t need to complicate things or do shortcuts. Your father is a man of vision and a dreamer and trusting to God. You mother is God centered and loves this country.

Let us not compare to western countries which now are having problems because of there ways that they achieve progress, through immorality, not God centered and to much materialism, and following the radicals and liberals to much. They are now having problems with there population, there moral values have been down and there is a lot of twisted ideas of freedom which is ruining there family, and to much materialism and a lot of people who are not happy and grateful.

It is much better to achieve progress by being different by centering it to what is moral and making both sides happy. It can be achieve sir, it can be achieve by hard work, determination, right people, faith in God and most of call COURAGE which past presidents lack. Courage to face war lord, land lords, selfish relatives, rebel groups, corrupt judges and lawyers, politicians, influential and selfish business man, and powerful criminal elements, powerful people who continue with illegal activities like drugs, prostitution, crime gang, piracy. Courage to help the poor and to encourage the Rich to help in our country. And courage to follow God will and what is right.

We can be different, we can achieve progress even with a big family. Endorsing contraception is not an instant solution, even if we nuke the whole country and diminish half of the population, if cities are still ruled by warlords, landlords, corrupt political clans, selfish business man, rebels who follow and evil ideology, nothing will be achieve.

And if business continues to concentrate on few areas like Manila and to much migration to cities, nothing can be achieve even with a fewer population. And if the rich continues to be greedy and does not share or participate on social civic programs like giving lands, training for the poor, employment, medication for the sick, education for the poor, or helping in infrastructure projects, nothing can be achieve. Just one percent of the wealth of the rich can make a difference.

Poverty also have something to do with people responsibility about there life so we do not blame you if other people are still poor after a few years. Other people just booze, drug addicts, rely on spoon feeding and blame game instead of taking charge of there life, entering illegal activities life crime and prostitution do to laziness, it is not our problem anymore.

Sir i rather see a campaign of good parenthood and also the media become a good influence for the family and the youth. The media has a been a bad influence and pirated porn. Supporting social groups like GK and Bantay Bata will be a big help and also harnessing the help of the rich for infrastructure, education, sports, training program for the poor and employment.

About land lords, war lords, illegal loggers, Jueteng lords, drugs, corrupt politicians may I suggest to send spies or investigators to those areas ruled by this type of people. We are not asking for instant conviction but at least they will be shaken. in government offices put up spies and C.T.V. cameras and also ISO certify each government facilities and offices and services.

I have a wish about prostitution that it will someday be eradicated because they are living worse than poor people. I hope there there will be Training programs to convert them from there wrong livelihood. Have courage to fight saunas, massage parlors and clubs and this prostitutes be put into a training program and employment. Same with Squatter they need training programs to get employment.

I hope and pray that our country will get better investment in manufacturing sectors or K.P.O., Knowledge base our sourcing where other countries will do there engineering designing, medical research, IT, C.G.I., etc. in our country. I hope whenever you go to other countries, promote our country for K.P.O. industry.

About security, for me i think National security and defense should be the priority for budget because everything starts from safety of our country. There will be better investment, education, etc, if our country is secured. Better training and equipment for Police and Soldiers. I also suggest CCTV cameras on buses and roads and more Bus Martial.

And lastly I hope that the environment will be taken care. Stricter anti littering law especially in well know parks, malls, etc. If Palawan can do it why not the entire country. I also hope that more Forest will be reforested with private sectors help especially in Sierra Madre because Sierra Madre is our greatest defense against storms.
